Here are some photos of a custom set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 wheels
we are supplying to a customer with a Mercedes SLK.
The customer wanted a staggered fitment, i.e. different sized front and rear
wheels. In this case the front wheels are 18×8 and the rear wheels and 18×9.
Customer also specified the specific offset they required so the wheels would
sit absolutely perfectly in the fenders.
Because these wheel were custom made delivery time was 5 weeks. Delivery time
was also effected because the Greece-Bulgaria border was closed for a week but
that is a different matter!
With the 18x8s the spokes sit at the same level as the rim.
On the 18x9s the face of the wheel is inset from the lip. When the wheels are
fitted on the car it will be easy to see that the rear wheels are wider than the
front.
These wheels are designed primarily for motorsport which means they give amazing
clearance for brake calipers while at the same time give a dish at the centre of
the wheel.
